Whether it’s through the use of the Internet, cellular technology, faxes, virtual reality, or e-mail, the revolution in technology that has affected all walks of life has left, and continues to leave, its mark on the real estate industry. As REALTORS® aim to keep up with ever-changing technology, their need for reliable, dependable, and expert tech information continues to grow. REALTOR® Magazine comes to their rescue with a special supplement: the Technology Buyer’s Guide.

REALTORS® look forward to receiving the Technology Buyer’s Guide, which is published with REALTOR® Magazine’s September issue. The guide cuts through the clutter and helps REALTORS® choose the best and latest technology for work and home, without a lot of techno jargon. Featuring product information, Internet basics, articles on hardware, software, communications equipment, and peripherals, and profiles on technosavvy REALTORS®, the guide offers readers the resources they need to make good technology decisions.

An important issue facing most REALTORS® is retirement—specifically, when they can afford to retire and how they plan to support themselves. REALTORS® expect to receive retirement from a variety of sources, such as Social Security, rental property, IRA’s, stocks and bonds, and 401(k) plans.

REALTOR® Magazine will produce for the first time a step-by-step financial guide for real estate practitioners. A REALTOR®’s Guide to Building Wealth, printed with the February issue, will give advice and guidance to this large group of entrepreneurs, who typically don’t have company benefits to rely on when it comes to issues such as health insurance and retirement savings.
